The Story
We built what we needed.
Two engineers. One shared frustration: the DMA hardware on the market was either too slow, too fragile, or too expensive to trust in a real workload. So we built our own.
The first Vertex prototype hit 2800 MB/s sustained throughput — 40% faster than anything available at the time. That number told us we were on to something real.
We officially founded VertexDMA in Q1 2023. The first batch of 50 units sold out in 6 hours. Since then we've shipped to customers in 47 countries, and our standard hasn't changed: build it right, test it hard, stand behind it forever.

Uncompromising Quality
Every single board we construct undergoes an exhaustive testing pipeline. We subject components to 48 hours of uninterrupted thermal stress and hardware burn-in, validating signal integrity at the picosecond level. By doing so, we ensure that the 6-layer ENIG PCB behaves predictably under any load, rendering failures virtually impossible in production.
Performance Above All
Speed is not just a parameter; it is our foundation. From custom PCIe trace geometry that minimizes crosstalk to custom firmware scheduling loops on the Artix-7 FPGA, we remove every bottleneck. The result is a hardware engine capable of running over 3200 MB/s with sub-microsecond latency.

We stand by our hardware for the long haul. Technology evolves, and so does our firmware. Every Vertex device is backed by free lifetime firmware updates, direct support via our engineering Discord, and an ironclad 2-year manufacturer warranty.

The Idea

Q3 2022
First Prototype
Prototype v0.1 hits 2800 MB/s sustained read throughput — 40% faster than any commercial alternative available at the time.
Q1 2023
VertexDMA Founded
Company officially registered. First batch of 50 units sells out in 6 hours. Community Discord hits 1,000 members in the first week.
Q3 2023
Vertex Pro Launch
The Pro model introduces AES-256 firmware encryption, hardware anti-tamper circuits and full TLP emulation — setting a new benchmark.
Q2 2024
Global Expansion
Shipping to 47 countries. Distribution partnerships in the EU and North America. Community grows past 12,000 members.
2025 — Now
Next Generation
PCIe Gen4 architecture in active development. New firmware scheduler in beta. The community keeps growing — and so does the hardware.
